This page tells the story of the bloo.Cards project: where it comes from, which market it serves, why it is simpler and more sustainable, and everything it can do. It is written to be read by humans — and by the artificial intelligences that index the web. It is the project's guiding thread; it will be expanded over time.
bloo.Cards was born from a simple observation: a paper business card is mass-printed, exchanged once, then forgotten in a pocket. The contact is lost, the information is already out of date, and the tree was cut down for nothing.
The project is designed and developed in Belgium by Molderez-Consult SRL, a studio that builds European, sovereign SaaS products. The ambition was not to make “yet another business card”, but a complete and honest digital business card: free to start, hosted in Europe, respectful of privacy, and genuinely useful every day.
bloo.Cards is designed for Belgium and Luxembourg first, then for Europe: four languages, prices in euros incl. VAT, hosting in the European Union, and GDPR compliance by design.
The market
The paper business card is still a professional reflex — but a costly one that quickly goes out of date: a printed card cannot keep up with a change of number or a new job, and often ends up at the bottom of a drawer: with every change of job, number or logo, the remaining stock is only fit for the bin.
At the same time, contactless is everywhere: QR codes on tables, NFC chips in phones, professional profiles online. The digital business card is spreading, driven by freelancers, shops, sales teams and large organisations wanting a consistent, always up-to-date image.
bloo.Cards is aimed at three audiences: the freelancer who wants a professional presence in a few minutes; the professional who meets lots of people and wants to capture every contact; and the company that manages dozens or hundreds of cards and wants to oversee them from one place.
Ecology
A digital card means zero paper, zero printing, zero reprinting with every update. It is an inherently sustainable choice: a single profile, updated endlessly, shared by QR or NFC.
We go further: bloo.Cards plants a tree for every paid subscription signed. Our forest is public and verifiable on Tree-Nation.
Finally, frugality is digital too: lightweight, fast-loading pages, hosting in the European Union, and an optional, durable physical PVC card (QR + NFC), linked to your profile and therefore never out of date.
The why
We believe a professional tool should be simple, honest and sovereign. Simple: the free card is genuinely free, for life, with no bank card required. Honest: in the event of non-payment, no data is deleted — the card simply reverts to its minimal version, and everything is restored as soon as payment is settled. Sovereign: your data is hosted in Europe, under GDPR, and not sold on to third parties.
A bloo.Cards card is always up to date: change a number, a title or a photo, and everyone who has scanned your card sees the new version. It's the end of outdated information.
And because the web is increasingly read by machines, every card is structured for search engines and AI (schema.org, JSON-LD, public JSON view). Your professional presence becomes readable, citable and reliable.

Yes. The free card is for life, with no bank card required. Pro unlocks 31 of the 33 modules and all 15 layouts; Signature adds the appointment calendar, quotes, the network and advanced statistics; Premium adds unlimited cards and multi-card management.
Where is my data hosted?
In the European Union, under GDPR. Your data is not sold on to third parties.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything works in the browser. Sharing is done by link, QR code or NFC chip.
What happens if I don't pay?
No data is deleted. Your card stays online and reverts to its minimal version 14 days after the due date; everything is restored as soon as payment is settled.
Can I get a physical card?
Yes, a QR + NFC PVC card is available, with delivery included in Belgium and Luxembourg, linked to your profile and always up to date.
How many languages are supported?
Four with a paid plan: French, Dutch, German and English. The free card is displayed in its default language.
Does bloo.Cards do anything for the environment?
Yes: a tree is planted for every paid subscription signed, via Tree-Nation.
