Paper vs digital business card: the full comparison

Costs: the method

To compare fairly, think in annual cost. Paper: the price of a batch of cards times the number of reprints per year (change of role, number, logo, address, a new hire). Digital with bloo.Cards: €0 on the Free plan; €47.88 incl. VAT per year on Pro billed annually (i.e. €3.99 per month); optionally, a PVC QR + NFC card at €9.99 incl. A price benchmark for paper

Paper prices vary a lot with weight, finish and delivery: an online printer, for instance, advertises an entry price of €9.30 for 500 standard cards (checked on 23/09/2026); premium cards cost noticeably more. On top of that print cost, add the time to order, proofread and hand out.
