What is schema.org

schema.org is a vocabulary of structured data that Google and other engines use to understand a page’s content. Rather than guessing, the engine reads standardised tags: page type, person, organisation, role, address.

Every bloo.Cards card publishes structured data: person or organisation, role, company, contact details. The engine therefore knows who you are and what you do, with no risky interpretation.

The effect on search

If you turn on the “Index this card” option, your profile can appear in search results. Structured data helps Google interpret it correctly — with no guarantee of a rich display, which remains at the engine’s discretion.

Indexing is a choice: turn it on to be findable, leave it off to keep your card private (link sharing only). You decide what is public.

Best practices

Fill in a clear name, a precise role and a company: the more complete your information, the better the engine places you. A consistent photo and address strengthen the profile.
